Kristen and Brian October 11. 2015
This adorable couple (also two of my closest friends) tied the knot last October and it was one of the most amazing and sweet wonderful days! Not only did I help plan from the beginning to make their day extra magical, but I got to stand alongside them as they said their "I Do's" such an honor to be able to be there for them in so many ways! Take a look at some of the photos for their beautiful "enchanted forest" wedding!
Jane and Rory April 2. 2016
Jane and Rory had a wedding that I will never forget! From a dancing robot to vintage cans and robots in beautiful meadows of babies breath. The bridesmaids were dressed in the sweetest 50's style dresses of different colors and the men wore handsome suspenders! The evening was held at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City, where they were served a delicious meal by Antonio's Catering, the florals arranged by Bees, Leaves n' Love and captured by the incredibly talented Athena Kalindi Photography!
Jackie and Adam May 21. 2016
Jackie and Adam were such a delight to work with. They got married at a beautiful church with Camelias String Quartet, and then treated their family and friends (275 to be exact!) to a beautiful wedding at Jackies parents ranch in Marysville. With the threat of rain, plans changed quickly to accustom all of the sweet details that Jackie put into her big day. with homemade runners, beautiful decor rented by Lisa's Flor Decor, an amazing buffet set up by Antonio's Custom Catering, even a cigar rolling station for the grooms love of celebratory cigars by Casillas Cigars. The night was photographed by Ciprian Photography, and wow, how he captured the pure beauty of this couple! One of my favorite parts however was the Buck Ford Band and delicious cake from Cakes by Request! We can't forget the sweet videography team of Epic Studios and of course without the Dj Joe Maslan the night wouldn't have gone anywhere near as smooth!
Rachel and Dusty June 3. 2016
Rachel and Dusty are one of those rare couples that are not only kind, compassionate and crazy immensely in love but they are also incredibly talented. Dusty is apart of multiple bands and a couple of them even played at their wedding! The couple signed a guitar as their guest "book", they had a wonderful rehearsal dinner where they entertained their guests with two of Dusty's bands, my personal favorite was his blue grass band! They also have incredibly talented family members that made the wedding absolutely beautiful. Rachel's mother and grandmother created all of the decorations, centerpieces and florals along with providing the incredibly sweet touches of a vintage photo booth, the table arrangements on an old vintage door, and setting the night on fire with a gorgeous amount of candles. The beautiful portraits and pictures provided by Katie White Photography, delicious and amazing food by Antonio's Custom Catering and the pure beauty of the Empire Mine Historical Park made for one of the most romantic weddings I have ever been apart of.
Danielle and Trevor June 18.2016
Danielle and Trevor hold a very special place in my heart. Not only are they the absolute perfect match, but they also are two of my very dear friends. Their wedding took place at a private residence, a country chic feel with dried flowers placed in Jack Daniels bottles as vases, a polaroid station for everyone to sign and place in a guest book, a homemade beer wall by the best man and handmade soap as favors by the mother of the groom. The food was prepared by Bills Chuckwagon, the wedding was brought to life in photos by Kurtis Ostrom Photography and captured in video by Pine Street Studios out of LA. Hale Bros Productions was there to get the party started as DJ/MC for the night and a very special officiant, the grooms uncle Rob married them. It was a night full of immense love, wonderful friends/family and celebration.
Allison & Roman July 9. 2016
Allison and Roman are such a beautiful couple inside and out, they celebrated the day at the gorgeous River Highlands Ranch in Smartsville, CA with 200 of their closet family and friends. With touches of lavender and grey, a rustic and sophistication with the beautiful wood farm tables, and the bride even sang "La Vie En Rose" to her new husband. Adorable!
Rebecca and Aaron July 31.2016
Becky is a longtime family friend, when she came to me after her and Aaron got engaged last year, I was ecstatic to help out! Her sister (Kristen, a few brides above) helped plan her entire wedding and I got to step in to execute all the sweet details that surrounded the Elegant Mexican theme. With Amor written all over the venue, beautiful drapery and some Wild and Lovely Rentals, the intimate space of Courtyard Suites was filled with 70 of their closest family and friends, some that traveled from all the way across the country including the Bride and Groom themselves. They incorporated Aarons' two amazing children Russell and Georgia in some of the sweetest ways as they started their lives off as a new family. Antonio Ayestaran catered with delicious street tacos, and Key Lime pies (perfect since the groom is from Florida!) Foothill Flowers made one of the most stunning pieces that attached to the arch, Photography was done by Alexa Hartley Photography and Milestone DJ came in for the music.
Chelsea and Brett October 1.2016
Chelsea and Brett hired me back in January, after our first meeting together we all knew that we were going to not only LOVE working together but that we had started a lifelong friendship. As the months passed with silly phone calls, fun meetings and hilarious text messages, I was able to help bring their vision to life!
Held at the historic Miners Foundry Cultural Center, officiated by the wonderful Karen Stone, Linens by Nevada County Linens and Rentals that fit the theme perfectly by SRC Party Rentals, Lauren White with Lauren Alisse Photography captured the day, (check out these incredible sneak peaks!), Giovanni with Lenkaland Photography doing the video, Tin Roof Farmhouse did some amazing installations with an old spring mattress, frames and their signature drapery, Foothill Flowers with gorgeous floral arrangements and bouquets, Antonio Ayestaran Custom Catering helped with a full room flip and some of the best food you could imagine, Eli FreshMode kept the party going as one incredible DJ and decor rentals by our very own Wild and Lovely Events! The day went perfectly, I couldn't imagine a better send off for this couple, than with SPARKLERS!
Cathy and Marcus May 11. 2017
Cathy and Marcus! This couple was a kind, respectful and absolutely adorably in love couple. Living across the country, Cathy needed a touch of extra help since she couldn't be around to finalize planning, so I jumped on with a partial plan 🙂 I was also asked to help style their Engagement photo shoot and how much fun we had with that! Again loved working with Andrew and Melanie Photography and Antonio's Catering (what I like to call the "A" team) haha, we had a weekend of fun with both of our beautiful couples just before Mother's Day. Helping to stylize their big day, as well as coordinating all of their vendors at one of my favorite venues Empire Mine State Park, Milestone DJ helped to get everyone on the dance floor and Z Cabernet played beautifully during the ceremony. Ever in need of bathroom rentals? Executive Washrooms helps to bring a high class experience for your guests.
Fun fact: When working with Andrew and Melanie Photography, you not only get some of the most amazing photos of your big day, you also get to work with two of the most caring people that truly love the couples they work with. And my absolute favorite part of the process is to be invited to their "reveal" party, where they invite your family and friends to relive your wedding day through photos at The Studio Collective, they top it off with an assortment of delectable cheeses and wine! 🙂 Such a fun way to see your photos for the first time and (for me) to get to see my couples again!
Amy and Oren May 12. 2017
Amy and Oren are the picture of a truly loving couple. Referred by a mutual friend, they hired me to help plan their full wedding, as they are both hard working professionals. With just a few months to plan (a little over 6 months) we hit the ground running and booked almost all of their vendors in less than a month! Then Amy and I got to enjoy the fun aspects of planning their picture perfect wedding day. With some family tragedies Amy ended up becoming busier than she expected, so I was able to help in every way that I could while she traveled back and forth to Colorado to be with her dad.
With some of the best vendors in town, decor by Wild and Lovely Rentals and in collaboration with Tin Roof Farmhouse for some of the bigger ticket items (the incredible LOVE letters!) Tableware including all mismatched vintage water glasses, wine glasses, champagne flutes, silverware and china. A beautiful bar and some gorgeous tables! I love collaborating with Erica and her team to create beautiful weddings. The photos were captured by one of my all time favorite photography teams Andrew and Melanie Photography, all while taking place at the stunning River Highlands Ranch and a delicious meal served by the best catering that Nevada County offers with Antonio's Catering. Eli Freshmode killed it on the dance floor with amazing song choices, and lastly my team helped to pull off decor as well as bringing in a florist from the family as my sister came in and put together some GORGEOUS arrangements.
As much as I LOVED helping A and O to plan their wedding, I love the friendship created from being apart of such a big day in their lives!
Theresa and Aaron July 1. 2017
Theresa, Aaron and I met last year while they were viewing venues. When they decided to get married at River Highlands Ranch, it seemed like the perfect fit to hire Antonio's Catering as well as yours truly! Theresa and her mom are one of the most creative duos I have met in a long time. Theresa working at a sweet nursery, with a love for Independence Day, vintage goodies and of course Aaron. They set on the date closest to the 4th of July that they could get without getting married on the 4th itself! Using my favorite wood chargers (found in Wild and Lovely Inventory) as well as some amazing personal touches (the decor was to die for!) Captured by the amazingly talented Athena Kalindi Photography, and rentals by Celebrations Party Rentals. Theresa was looking for a cool "blue" old car that she wanted to arrive in at the ceremony site, we were coming up with few and far between choices. Aaron pulled me aside at a design meeting and let me know that he had it covered. Little did I know, this meant that he had bought a light blue truck and was planning on fixing it up as a wedding gift to his new bride. Can you say swoon worthy? Needless to say Theresa was ecstatic and these two will remain one of my favorite couples of all times!
